Trichogaster lalius. A small, colourful gourami. Males show bright orange-red and blue bars. A great centrepiece for a peaceful community tank.

Care
Prefers a well-planted tank with floating plants and gentle flow. Breathes air at the surface, so leave a gap under the lid. Keep only one male per tank.
Diet
Omnivore. Flakes or micro-pellets with frozen bloodworm, brine shrimp and daphnia.
Breeding
Bubble-nest builder among floating plants. Males guard the nest.

Price is per fish. Choose how many you'd like at checkout. Every order is £9 delivery by overnight courier however many you buy, or collect free from South Ayrshire (KA8). Photos are for illustration; fish are selected from our tanks and colours develop as they settle and mature.

- Delivered by overnight courier for £9 per order, however many fish you buy. We dispatch Monday to Thursday so parcels are never held over a weekend. Fish are double-bagged in insulated boxes with a heat or cool pack to suit the weather. Dead-on-arrival losses are covered: send a photo of the unopened bag within 2 hours of delivery and we'll replace or refund.
