Cardinal Tetra for Sale
Paracheirodon axelrodi. One of the best-known aquarium fish, with a neon-blue stripe over a red band that runs the full length of the body.

Care
Needs a mature, stable tank with soft, slightly acidic water. A dark substrate and plants make the colours glow.
Diet
Omnivore. Fine flakes or micro-pellets, with frozen or live daphnia, brine shrimp and bloodworm for colour and condition.
Breeding
Egg-scatterer. Spawns in mature, planted tanks; adults will eat eggs, so move eggs or use a separate breeding tank to raise fry.

- Delivered by overnight courier for £9 per order, however many fish you buy. We dispatch Monday to Thursday so parcels are never held over a weekend. Fish are double-bagged in insulated boxes with a heat or cool pack to suit the weather. Dead-on-arrival losses are covered: send a photo of the unopened bag within 2 hours of delivery and we'll replace or refund.
