Poecilia reticulata. A mixed selection of female fancy guppies. Larger and less colourful than males, they make a good start for breeding or for balancing a group with males.
Hardy and adaptable. Prefers slightly hard, alkaline water and a planted tank with gentle flow. Females may already be carrying young.
Omnivore. Quality flakes or micro-pellets, plus frozen bloodworm, brine shrimp or daphnia, and some vegetable matter such as spirulina.
Livebearer: females give birth to free-swimming fry every 4-6 weeks. Dense plants or floating cover help fry survive in a community tank.
Price is per fish. Choose how many you'd like at checkout. Every order is £9 delivery by overnight courier however many you buy, or collect free from South Ayrshire (KA8). Photos are for illustration; fish are selected from our tanks and colours develop as they settle and mature.
