2x ELECTRIC BLUE ACARA CICHLID approximately 1-3cm
Electric Blue Acara Cichlids are omnivores and will accept a variety of foods. Offer them a balanced diet consisting of high-quality flake or pellet food supplemented with live or frozen foods like bloodworms, frozen shrimp, choped beef /lamb hards and chopped earthworms.
Include some vegetable matter in their diet, such as blanched spinach or zucchini, to provide essential nutrients.
Electric Blue Acara are generally peaceful fish.
Compatible tank mates include other peaceful cichlids of similar size, peaceful community fish like tetras and rasboras, and bottom-dwelling species like Corydoras catfish. I do keep them with other large cichlid aswell like severum, uaru and geophagus.
The large grup of them willk look very stunning in the aquarium and they bring unique bright electric blue colours to you aquarium. Life span of them is up to 10 years however I have grup off them and they are 13 years old this year.
The juvenile electric blue acara you purchased from me come from a pair of unrelated adults purchased in different places and times, so the offspring are not inbred fish like you might find at auctions from other sellers.
This will extend the lifespan of the fish and provide increased resistance to disease.
Local pickup from mine fish room is always preferred, collection from Ripon HG4 North Yorkshire-Collection by appointment
Postage costs £15.00 either by Royal Mail next day service . I only post Monday – Thursday, delivery day to be confirmed with buyer.
I can combine shipping costs for other fish as well.
